A silicate mineral subclass in which every SiO₄ tetrahedron shares all four oxygen atoms with adjacent tetrahedra, forming a three-dimensional framework. Feldspars, quartz, zeolites, and feldspathoids are tectosilicates, making this the most abundant silicate subclass.
