Parisite-(Nd) is a neodymium-dominant fluorocarbonate mineral of the parisite group, occurring in carbonatite and alkaline pegmatite assemblages enriched in rare earth elements. It forms pale yellowish to white hexagonal prismatic crystals, analogous to the more common parisite-(Ce) but with neodymium as the dominant REE. The mineral is of scientific interest for understanding REE fractionation in carbonatitic and alkaline magmatic systems.
