Arsenogoldfieldite is a rare arsenic-dominant tellurosulfosalt mineral of the tetrahedrite group, crystallizing in the cubic system as metallic gray to black tetrahedral crystals. It occurs in gold-telluride hydrothermal ore deposits, particularly those associated with epithermal precious metal mineralization. The mineral is of scientific interest for documenting the substitution of tellurium and arsenic in the structurally complex tetrahedrite supergroup.
