Argentotennantite-(Fe) is a silver- and iron-bearing member of the tetrahedrite group of sulfosalt minerals, crystallizing in the cubic system. It displays metallic gray to black tetrahedral crystals or massive aggregates in silver-rich hydrothermal ore veins. The mineral is of economic interest as a minor ore of silver and copper, and scientifically important for characterizing the complex solid solution series within the tetrahedrite–tennantite–freibergite system.
