Wangkuirenite is a rare calcium titanium silicate mineral first characterized from unusual skarn or calc-silicate assemblages in China. It forms pale brownish to colorless prismatic microcrystals in Ca-Ti enriched metasomatic zones. The mineral is named in honor of a Chinese geologist and contributes to the crystal chemical understanding of Ca-Ti silicate phases in metamorphic environments.
