Svornostite-(NH4) is an ammonium-dominant sulfate mineral of the svornostite group, found in fumarolic deposits of active volcanic systems and in guano-enriched cave environments. It forms colorless to white microcrystalline masses in high-temperature volcanic gas vents or nitrogen-rich sedimentary environments. The mineral is of scientific interest as an example of natural ammonium sulfate mineralization.
