Nipeiite-(Ce) is a cerium-dominant phosphate mineral of the rhabdophane group, occurring in carbonatite-related alkaline complexes and REE ore deposits in China. It forms pale yellowish to white microscopic hexagonal crystals and contributes to the known diversity of natural cerium phosphate hydrate phases. The mineral is scientifically important for understanding REE phosphate precipitation in alkaline environments.
