Dmitryvarlamovite is a rare arsenate mineral named in honor of Russian geochemist Dmitry Varlamov, first described from the oxidized zones of cobalt-arsenic deposits in Russia. It occurs as colorless to pale pink microcrystalline aggregates in association with other secondary arsenate phases. The mineral contributes to knowledge of cobalt arsenate mineralogy in oxidized ore systems.
