Yuchuanite-(Y) é um mineral raro de hidroxissilicato dominante em ítrio, descrito pela primeira vez em rochas metamórficas ou metassomáticas enriquecidas em terras raras pesadas da China. Forma cristais microscópicos incolores a amarelo pálido e representa um exemplo natural de uma fase de hidroxissilicato dominante em Y. Contribui para a compreensão da partição de HREE em sistemas de silicatos metamórficos.
