Shinichengite is a rare calcium iron titanium silicate mineral first described from unusual calc-silicate inclusions or skarn assemblages in China. It forms pale brownish to colorless prismatic microcrystals in high-temperature metasomatic zones. The mineral contributes to understanding of Ca-Fe-Ti phase equilibria in contact metamorphic and skarn mineralogy.
