Sarrochite is a rare zinc aluminum arsenate hydroxide mineral from the oxidized zone of zinc-arsenic ore deposits in Sardinia, Italy. It forms pale white to colorless microplaty crystals in gossan assemblages, associated with adamite and other secondary zinc arsenate minerals. Sardinian mineral deposits are globally recognized for their exceptional secondary mineral diversity, and sarrochite adds to this legacy.
