Kvačekite is a rare uranium silicate mineral found in Cretaceous sedimentary deposits of the Bohemian basin, occurring as secondary crystalline masses associated with organic matter and uranium oxide phases. It forms yellow to yellowish-brown microcrystalline aggregates in uraniferous sedimentary rocks and is of scientific interest for documenting uranium silicate mineralogy in low-temperature sedimentary uranium deposits. The mineral honors Czech palaeobotanist Zlatko Kvacek.
