Glecklerite is a rare calcium manganese silicate mineral of the pectolite-schizolite series, occurring in metamorphosed manganese-rich sedimentary sequences. It forms white to pale pinkish fibrous or acicular crystals with a silky luster, typically in low-grade metamorphic Mn-bearing assemblages. The mineral is studied for its crystal chemistry within the wollastonite-pectolite group and is occasionally collected by enthusiasts of manganese mineral assemblages.
