Ehrigite is a rare complex lead bismuth tellurosulfide mineral first characterized from gold-silver-telluride deposits in Australia. It forms minute metallic gray grains within assemblages of telluride and sulfosalt minerals in epithermal ore systems. The mineral is named for Australian ore mineralogist Dr. Kathy Ehrig and provides insight into the crystal chemistry of Pb-Bi-Te sulfosalt systems.
