Telluride

Minerals containing tellurium as the dominant anion combined with metals. Gold tellurides such as calaverite (AuTe₂) and sylvanite (AuAgTe₄) were the source of gold in the Kalgoorlie, Australia, and Cripple Creek, Colorado deposits.
