Wiperamingaite is a rare lead zinc phosphate mineral first described from the oxidized zones of a lead-zinc ore deposit in South Australia, named for the Wiperaminga Hill locality. It forms small colorless to pale yellowish tabular crystals in gossan assemblages associated with other secondary phosphate and carbonate minerals. The mineral adds to the growing catalog of rare secondary phosphate minerals from Australian oxidized ore deposits.
