grupo Toledoite is a rare platinum group element mineral, specifically a platinum bismuth telluride, first described from platinum-telluride-bearing ore zones in Colombia. It forms minute pale yellow to cream-colored metallic grains within PGE-bearing chromitite or alluvial placer concentrates. The mineral contributes to knowledge of natural Pt-Bi-Te chemistry and to the mineralogy of platinum-group element deposits in South America.
